Yesterday Liberty House was invited down to Erdington Job Centre by the Department of Work and Pensions to give a short presentation (hosted by Sonia Parnell) about the varied roles and responsibilities of a carer.
We were honoured to be invited to a photo exhibition hosted by Caroline Dinenage (Minister of State and Department of Health and Social Care) as part of the national campaign #EverydayisDifferent.
Today we were lucky enough to be invited down to Aston Tavern for afternoon tea. We all filled up on scones, sandwiches and cakes and were beautifully presented.
We wanted to say a massive thank you to Common Unity for producing a video of Liberty House, showcasing some of the work we do and why we believe care is one of the most rewarding jobs you can do
Today we were developing one of our residents’ digital skills using his tablet. Thanks to the lovely weather we were able to go outdoors and take some photographs of our lovely gardens, you can see some of the photos they took below!
