"Liberty House Care Homes has enhanced my caring skills as well as my knowledge. This is because I was able to develop on my caring skills by helping support the service users by meeting their needs and interacting with them so I understand them better. Consequently, I was able to learn how to cook by observing the staff members at the care home and also be part of the cooking sessions with a chef. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of Liberty House Care Homes because I was able to make a positive impact on the service users and they were more than happy to welcome me within their home. More over, other skills that I had developed was on my sewing and threading skills, as each week I was able to help service users with their daily activities.

I have enjoyed spending time with the service users here and I wish them all the best in the future!"

"My experience at Liberty House was very good because I was able to develop many of my skills and develop upon my weaknesses. I was able to build my confidence by interacting with the service users and activities in a one-to-one interaction as well as doing group interactions. I enjoyed doing cooking with the service users and interacting with them. The environment was very friendly.

I was able to have a good relationship with the service users and service providers. The staff are friendly and approachable. I also enjoyed my outing experience when going shopping and dropping service users off at the day centre.

I was able to work on my speech by making sure I spoke slowly with the service users so they understood. I was able to develop my leadership skills as well as providing the right support to the service users when cooking and baking.

This overall was a very good experience because I was able to meet amazing people and develop my experience because everyone was friendly and very positive around me."
